Dynamic Backgrounds
currently looking ways to improve backgrounds before i even start making my character mesh. I have noticed i just do 3 wall setups and just show off what i make, but i can make things more deep if i actually create something around it. Something that can give it a creative flow and a drastic drop from a floor and 2 walls. Currently working on rough drafts with an organic and inorganic world. Something my character can live in or at least be apart of . I want to create something that brightens my character and not over shadows it. So for right now im creating a blend of a big worth with little details.

I am currently finishing up basic tutorials on how to sculpt and how to uv texture paint in blender. After wards im going to finish developing and creating a character. Once finalized ill learn more complex sculpting and painting tips. Learning tips and basic sculpting rules for human topology and for basic scenes. Things i have found is to create low poly and work up from that then starting at a high poly. Also its better to model and sculpt in parts then having one giant mesh . Smaller meshes with more subdivisions works the best. Another thing I noticed is overlapping has to be done in edit mode. So yeah i need to work on more designing and learning new ways to sculpt after just learning just how to even get into that mode. So character creation starting soon

Round UP! And New development.
Ill just end up talking about my second phase/wave of new strings of idea and concepts for my second and probably my most time enduring project for this year. I want to create a character like i said so i am going to spend around a week of time developing a character of my own choosing. One that might be inspired from class or just from my personal interests and peaks. I want to learn how to carve things and sculpt but im most definitely going to keep the inorganic and simple styles that i have. Im most likely not going to create anything out of it story wise but something that's creative and something i find visual attractive. I also wanna work on creating a background with this character/characters. Creating a miniature world that is more then a room. I want to do something with auras and heat waves. Something that is easier to do in a 2-d art work but i want to make it into something in 3-d. I am going to spend time drawing and creating my ideas in till i finalize something then i am going to start creating it again most likely free handily or with a scale of some sort.

New Life New Project
Looking forward into the later steps of this year i just wanted to create something i was comfortable with . Now i want to create characters inside still environments. Ones that change with each render but are not animations. I want to design and create a character through out the day or week of whatever comes to mind and add or subtract from it till im happy with a final concept. I might create proportions and stills of it and add it to blender and model off that or do it from eye. The problem is if you do it from eye you don't have accurate measurements to pull from. I'm going to create eccentric backgrounds with the main focus to be my model . I will draft interactive backgrounds and model or models. And will most likely indulge most of my time into this in the following week or week in a half . I am going to make a few renders of a scene and mix it up as i go creating diversity with  the same set. So i am looking to create another mechanical character and i might make something organic if i learn how to sculpt. More or less its going to mostly be inorganic and same with the background . Instead of flat faces im going to create something that fits a character .

General Art Creation

I'm going to talk about art creation and steps to take to avoid making art bad whether its film , stills or models. Creating art work is a self designing process but a great example of not taking in outside influence is from George Lucas. The prequels of star wars all directed by Lucas in a spand of about 6 years . Visuals in the film pushed CGI potential astronomically but other then that the films where lack luster. Art is more then just a beautiful picture. Meaning and potential of the piece needs to shine through just the aesthetics of picture. This shows how no matter how successful you are .. outside sources are needed to enforce the great aspects but also preference shines out in some people then others. So you need to find people who share the same shape but don't just approve of your work because you ask if its good. Also arrogance doesn't gain anything in art work. George would change anything because it was his vision. When art in general is a collaboration with individuals to make a greater picture. Even as a single artist you should be willing to grab strangers who wont be biased on your work to get there opinions. Having "haters" and "fanboys" are not great people to show work to as they will either approve or disapprove immediately just based on who you are as a person and not what you present them with. Finding this balance of criticism and rejection is different for everyone. So as a personal preference i like to take as much criticism and fix is based on whether it sounds/looks good or if its just nonsense. Always seek for others approval last as they can swing there opinion just based on if you ask if its good when it isn't. This tangent is just a statement for me/others to just open up and not shut in.

Getting Noticed.

Start a blog
This may be the single most important thing you can do to increase your exposure as an artist. It takes a bit of commitment to post regularly, but the benefits make it a no-brainer.
Artists often tell me they don’t need a blog, or they don’t have anything to write about, but if you’re consistently creating new art, then you have plenty to write about.
You can post every time you create a new piece of art and talk about the process or what it means to you or if there is a story behind it. You can write about your upcoming exhibitions or shows, and you can provide tutorials and advice on how you create your art.

 Establish Your Artist Goals
This one is easy, all you have to do is think! Take 5 minutes to consider what your goals are for your artwork. Are you just doing it for fun because you love it, do you plan to make a living from doing it, or is it a bit of both?

Enter Art Competitions
You may not be the competitive type, but entering online art contests can be a great way of reaching other artists and increasing your exposure.

These are simple things that can expose you to mainstream artist and consumers to make your art work more popular . And also turning it into more then just a pass time hobby.

First of all I was going to end up typing this and printing it but I didn't have enough time too do so; so instead i'm just going to copy and paste it here as PAGE 6. .... .

Effect use of planning and developing!
Surviving as an artist consist of working everyday and as much as can. Not so much as when you want to because you will find yourself doing less and less work and making less and less progress. When working , making your own inspiration. Being an artist is basically a full time job. the whole end game is where to channel your creativity and what to focus it on the most and where you are the most successful. Spending time on something you cant draw/paint/build will lead you no were but an angry path of doubt.

Your are studio should also be considered a medium of experimenting with different art forms and different art styles or even methods and ideology . Through this process of trial and error with multiple forms of art each and every time you want a new piece to come out your strengths will be laid out for you eventually.

Researching and establishing a self mission. Expanding your knowledge of the vast art styles and works out there. Also while letting your creativity run wild and evolve as an artist.

The whole point of being an artist is to express your self in a way you feel comfortable and proud of while at the same time its seen as art to others. The whole point is to enjoy what you are making and be entertained when people enjoy your work. Whether it be a painting or it be music.

Themes in Conceptual Film?

Themes Not Memes

This year we are picking themes that we willing drive are focus on while scratching other surfaces... Leading to my first theme that i want to portray a lot in my work is SIMPLE SHAPES. I want to use simple shapes to make more diverse models. I want to see how limited people are when limited to simpler edges and shapes. I want to make unique work without using unique building blocks. Not only do I want something build something but i want a challenge of limitations. Another theme I want to try or at least that i enjoy is mechanical or hard surfaced modeling. Meaning tanks, cars, weapons or buildings are what i want to mostly work on, but I might be a little fluid and have organic things chiming in now and then if I don't change my mind. Ill either make multiple low poly models and create something out of that or I will make one complex model. I like working with hard edges and I like the simplicity that squares and other shapes bring. I am interested into war a little to just based on how create a person had to be to develop a tank. So I might also dable a little in weaponry and cannons. Nothing to native I’m more into futuristic weaponry. So basically what I’m saying is I’m going to make a giant sci-fi square tank with hard surfaces (sarcasm)? I just want to explore hard surface modeling and sci-fi to explore deeper into more common things. Hard surface was fun and I want that to be my main revolving point, but with little additives to help keep things from getting stale or to repetitive.

Curve Modeling

One of the toughest thing that i had to do with this project was finding creative ways of forming the correct shape that i needed to make without messing up parts i had already finished.

UV Mapping

The troubles i had with this project was clearly the uv mapping. As it took most of us in the class to learn it and successfully complete it.

Hard Surface blender project

A few troubles that came my when when making this project is some of the shapes of individual parts. As i don't fully enjoy what i have produced and would tweak it more i still find it a great piece. Optically speaking you can see some of the mistakes and that was an easy by pass to some of the unfortunate mesh designs

Pizzie pie !!!!

The hardest part about this project was making the pizza. I even had to look up references and some basic blender videos to help make some of the stuff that i have seen when i was looking up examples .
